Description
Sunset Cove is the fanciest setup (it calls itself a boutique resort) on Ao Chaophao. Their rooms provide most modern comforts -- air-con and DVD players along with a good selection of free movies are standard. A good-sized swimming pool and sun deck sit near the beach along with a classy restaurant serving steaks and seafood as well as Thai food and a complimentary breakfast. Like the resort itself, the restaurant is a bit overpriced. Though tightly packed together, the rooms are comfortable and immaculately clean, if somewhat staid. Beds are large and very plush and the open-air showers and some tubs are a nice touch. All said, this is a comfortable place if you've got the extra cash, and the service and staff are great.
