At the edge of Laem Son Lake just 200 metres from Seethanu beach, Lake Side Resort's offerings are more like small houses than bungalows. With the option of fan or larger air-con units, all have views of the fresh water lake and its lush pine-forrested surroundings. Well-suited to long-term guests, these little houses are fully-furnished and have kitchenettes, makeing for very comfortable lodging, and Ning in reception is super friendly and welcoming. While most guests here stay on a weekly or monthly basis, very reasonable nightly rates are available. The only real drawback here is the somewhat isolated location, but it is peaceful, and if you like to walk or drive a motorbike, the beach and several great restaurants are within reach.
