Stone Hill is across the street from the beach and high on a hill, offering some of the finest views around. These large, luxurious bungalows are well spaced around the hilltop among plenty of trees. Given its distance from the beach and the hill involved, Stone Hill is recommended only for those comfortable on a motorbike. Well-suited to longer stays -- two nights minimum is required -- these lovely, spacious bungalows feature comfortable new furnishings, TV, air-con, refrigerators and a kettle. The large decks facing the sea are a perfect place to enjoy the views and the breeze. The popular Amsterdam Bar here is a great evening and night time hangout. Attracting expats and visitors from around the island, the music here is good and the drinks better -- just remember the steep climb down -- in a very relaxed atmosphere. If you don't care about a beach side location and have some extra cash, Stone Hill is worth spoiling yourself.
