What we say:

Reggae Village is a colourful resort featuring a wide range of bungalows, some painted in bright rasta colours. The accommodation is clean and well maintained, though some of the rooms are cement blocks with naff decor and crummy sliding doors. The wooden thai style villas are definitely the best — if a tad overpriced — with teak balconies, some with bathtubs, and mini-kitchens with toasters. Overall though the basic rooms are fairly good value and the place is renowned for having a welcoming family-feel, making all guests feel like friends. The huge restaurant perched high above the village is probably the resort's biggest asset, it's a great spot to hang out, play pool, table football, watch movies or just hob-nob with other travellers. The family also own JJs (or jay jays) pizza restaurant and cocktail bar, a stone's throw away, and a trendy evening choice on Haad Salad.
