Salad Buri Resort and Spa
Luxurious

What we say:
By far the highest end operation on Haad Salad, Salad Buri sits on the headland at the southern end of the beach. Consisting of luxury villas and rooms built into the hillside, with a grand entrance and swimming pool, the resort is certainly grasping for five-star status. The rooms are beautifully decorated and immaculate, the majority are staggered up the steep hillside amongst lush gardens, a few are at lower levels looking out over a small lagoon. A hotel block faces the narrow strip of beach that is usable, as the majority of the oceanfront is rocky and muddy. A big pool sits right on the beach though many of the rooms have their own pools. A clever concept is that rooms are built in doubles with a private entrance, so guests can rent one room or both to create a suite. This also offers quite good value if you rent both rooms between two couples. The superior rooms are a little bit small but still utterly lovely. Breakfast is included, though the restaurant might not be up to much yet. If you fancy luxury on Haad Salad this is the real deal.
