This place has bungalows to fit most budgets and more amenities than some of the other setups in the area. The resort's bungalows start at the beach -- only two could be considered beachfront, and this is not the best part of the beach -- the rest run back into the jungle in two tightly-packed lines on either side of the restaurant. Most huts are in good shape and clean -- not huge but comfortable. The air-con rooms are closest to the beach and cost twice as much as comparable huts with fan only. The more affordable rooms are tucked away in the jungle where the shade is welcome but the bugs are not. Service is helpful, with travel booking, motorbike rental, snorkels and daily taxi service to Thong Sala (100B/person at 10:30).

By that we mean they show up, in person, and pretend to be either be a potential guest, or somebody looking for a room for a friend or relative. Where possible the researcher will inspect at least a couple of rooms.
