Coral Beach Bungalow is a very relaxed, good value spot toward the centre of Haad Salad. The huts are separated from the beach by a narrow garden, and the sand and sea just steps away can be viewed from private hammocks. While quite basic, these wooden huts are in decent shape and clean, and a lot of care is taken with their upkeep. Most importantly, they are cheap, and the quality is better than comparably-priced offerings elsewhere. This small setup maintains a relaxed vibe, and the staff are amiable. The little beachside restaurant serves inexpensive and Thai dishes and a standard western menu that's reasonably priced with a lovely flowery dining area in the centre of the garden. This is a great place for backpackers or budget travellers interested in a quiet spot on a lovely stretch of beach.
