Salad Hut

Comfy rooms, great restaurant

A relatively small, relaxing setup run by a friendly family, Salad Hut offers just ten wooden bungalows with various amenities. The spacious, comfortable and clean huts are separated from the beach by a swimming pool and sun deck, so all rooms are essentially poolside while just steps away from the beach. Salad Hut has a romantic feel but also caters to families as well as couples. The restaurant is the best on the beach with cool mood-lighting hung from trees around a small pond. The music is mellow and the variety of food and homemade ice cream is delicious. Highly recommended.

Salad Hut reviews

So beautiful!!! - 30th October, 2009
The place is gorgeous!! We went there from Haad Yao which was nice but with Jack`s Bar it has a party scene of mostly higher budgeted backpacker and flashpacker who wanted to escape the crowds of Haad Rin. Haad Salad is far more beautiful - our most favorite beach on our three weeks trip through thailand. It is very relaxed and you mostly find there honeymooners, young couples and families. We really loved Salad Hut which we found accidentally when we were looking for another accomodation. We stayed 6 nights in a totally nice and beautiful bungalow which felt a bit like home. The beautiful garden, in which the bugnalows are situated, gives you a feeling of a comfort zone round ''your house'' and the inifinity pool was nice and clean. Every Bungalow has seaview and its just like stepping out the door and being directly on the beach. The Bungalows are furnished nicely and in a very modern thai style. Staff is cleaning, painting and taking care for its resort every day. Every day you see someone working in the garden or mending the bungalows. One very big extra was the nice and spacious veranda every bungalow has. It comes with a hammock so relaxing is definitely the thing you will do in Salad Hut. Staff was professional and very friendly. The restaurant is great - cosy, comfy and the food is delicious! Mr. Ma comes every day to Salad Hut and gives his massages nearly exclusivley only to the guests Salad Hut. He learned at Wat Po and is really an unicum. We payed 1700 THB for our Bungalow and it was worth every single Bath! With every trip to thailand in the next years we will arrange a little stopover in Salad Hut because we just loved the place! Definitely highly recommended.

I just loved this place, can't think of anything bad to say about it. As above says, the restaurant is great. Lovely people too.
