What we say:

Laemson is a decent choice for inexpensive beachfront haunt, but there are certainly better and cheaper places in the area. The beachfront huts are larger and feature bright blue paint jobs -- there's no missing this place from the beach -- and good views from their decks, while the second row huts are smaller and very plain. All are very basic. One nice touch is that all bungalows have two hammocks. Beach volleyball and evening bonfires liven up the atmosphere a bit, but a better choice is to head next door to friendlier Laem Son 2.
