Tanote View
Tranquil and super friendly

What we say:
This place hovers high above Tanote Bay, where the breeze is cool and the views of green hillsides and the sea are unforgettable. The woman running Tanote View is hilarious and makes everyone feel welcome. The laidback restaurant, complete with beer garden, offers great Thai food, pasta and steaks in a sala overlooking the bay. It's a bit of a walk by partially paved road down to the bay and rocky beach, but Tanote View offers very well-kept accommodation. These bungalows with their cool paint jobs are fairly simple but good-sized and clean, though some are a bit musty. Each also has a small area with chairs for hanging out in the relaxed garden village.
