View Rock Resort, in the north of Hin Wong Bay, adds a touch of luxury to this pristine and peaceful location while accommodating travellers of all kinds. The super-friendly family running View Rock offers a variety of very clean, well-kept bungalows from basic little huts to large family-size air-con bungalows. The bright blue-roofed huts are set along a rather steep stone path leading from the water to the top of the cliff high above the bay. All rooms here have spectacular views from private balconies and are spacious and tastefully decorated. View Rock also has a wonderful restaurant and huge sun deck positioned just over the water. They also provide a PADI training centre/dive shop, games, book exchange, travel information, snorkel and motorbike rentals and a little shop with snacks and essential supplies. View Rock is a classy place to enjoy one of Ko Tao's most serene bays with wonderful snorkeling and swimming.

I like these pleasant and honest owners. They are friendly but don't talk too much. So they never push tourists like other Thai touts. And their bungalows are clean and well-maintained. Although they don't have beach, they made a big deck for suntun just on the rocks, and there is also a small hut for meditation and afternoon nap viewing the ocean. All for relaxation...
It is hard to access but they will pick you up by 4WD from jetty for free. It is better to inform them in advance, but they everyday twice go to jetty to get customers and give you free ride between resort to town.
Fantastic place for snorkelling. You will be welcomed by fish and corals just at the entrance. Many diving or snorkeling tour groups will drop by this bay. You can canoe, too.

This place was a welcome relief from the hustle and bustle of Sairee. Be forewarned that the resort is dotted down a very steep hill - walk carefully - particularly descending! But delightful staff, gorgeous bunglalow(mine was halfway up the hill with the most magnificent view), a fantastic bay for swimming and snorkelling and terrace for generally lounging around. No nightlife and no doof doof music. Perfect for a complete switchoff
