Great for beach surveying
What we say: 
This small bungalow operation has a dozen or so wooden bungalows, all fan-cooled with shower. The smaller huts are a bit older, but particularly if you're travelling by yourself, they aren't bad value, though the bathrooms are pretty grimy. The larger beachfront huts are in better nick and are far better value, with shaded balconies big enough for a few hammocks ideally placed for beach surveying with a good book.

Cheap but good option
We spend some days in one of the low budget bungalows. As mentioned before: they are pretty old but totally okay for this price. Additionally on very quiet part of Lamai. Plus: supernice staff! Bring your own locker for the safety box.
