Luxury at a price
Ko Samui is so big, we’ve split it up into areas, select one of the below for detailed accommodation and food listings in that area. Sights and general overviews for Ko Samui as a whole can be found via the icons above. Don’t know where to start? Read an overview of Ko Samui’s different areas.
The Pavillion Samui Boutique Resort cannot be missed with its large on-street yellow painted timber and grey stone entrance, which looks more like a weird fort than anything else.
It has extended to include rooms across the road (with pedestrian crossing), overtaking what was once a backpacker hostel. The rooms are all as fancy as they sound with titles such as ‘deluxe jacuzzi’ and ‘hydro pool villa’ with all the amenities you would expect of a high-end resort, including large terraces, luxurious timber flooring and furniture, day beds and a Jacuzzi or private pool if you choose. This is all set between outdoor timber pathways in a lush setting with lanterns to light the way to the gym, pool, restaurant and The Lookout Bar by the beach. The feeling is romantic and a good choice for honeymooners if you can afford it.
