Sea Breeze Bungalows
A friendly family-run resort

What we say:
This very friendly family-run resort has a range of rooms from charming old-style bungalows through to quite spacious and comfortable aircon chalets. The latter get more expensive the closer you get to the beach, but by Lamai's standards, they're very good value. A newer two-storey building outback has standard rooms. The bungalows are better value. The restaurant has a great little sala overhanging the beach -- the perfect place to escape the heat -- and the entire resort is well-shaded with good gardens.

Budget rooms need a spruce up
Stayed here in peak season Jan 2007 in the budget rooms, which were 400BHT. The rooms are in serious need of a good clean and a coat of paint. We had a family of giant cockroaches living in our bathroom and generally didn't feel that the room was very clean. Having said that, the more expensive rooms looked lovely, the staff were very friendly, and you can eat food from the restaurant at their beach bar which is directly on the beach. It's a nice little resort, but get those budget rooms renovated!!
