Bill Resort
A good mix of rooms

What we say:
This long-running resort has rooms ranging from barely adequate for those on a tight budget to large, air-con bungalows along with very tasteful and ideally-placed beachfront Thai-style chalets. The superior rooms are clean with polished wooden floors, though the stone encrusted bathrooms are a bit incongruous and the mattresses super-soft (the ground floor superiors have no view to speak of). The beachside bar and restaurant is very popular. The resort is large and runs a long way back off the beach -- with the wrong room you can have a long and very steep walk to the beach. Bill Resort also has a medium sized pool near the beachfront. Very popular with Europeans. Be sure to ask after a discount for longer stays.
