Amity Bungalows
A mix of options, some good some bad

What we say:
This was the first resort we ever stayed at on Ko Samui, over ten years ago. The 60B rustic wooden beachfront hut we once stayed in has been replaced by a 700B concrete mushroom with air-con but no balcony, no windows facing the ocean and small portholes on the side. They still have cheap huts way out the back, though still double the price of 'our hut'.There's now a mix of huts with some brand new beachside air-con bungalows being amongst the better offerings for those not on a tight budget. A reliably friendly option. At least they still have their afternoon volleyball games and the food isn't too bad.

good place to relax
I stayed there at bungalow fan private b'room (350 baht/day). Nice beach. Nice wooden bungalow, not so big but OK. Quiet place. Ideal to relax. Close to Hin Ta & Hin Yai Rocks. 2 min walk to main road with 7/11.

Decent
We stayed at Amity during a short stay on Samui. We stayed in one of the cheaper bungalows. It was very basic but altogether comfortable. There's some nice snorkelling right off the beach as well. The restaurant is cheap and tasty.
