Description
A throwback of Ko Samui's backpacker days, Whitesands has some cute little super-basic beachfront shacks (with share-bathroom) that are amongst the cheapest on Lamai and set right on the beach. Back off the beach there's both wooden huts with private bathroom and further back again blue air-con rooms that represent very mediocre value. With a real traveller feel and friendly staff, this is a fine tight budget option.
