Description
This mid-range resort represents excellent value, with huge, well-designed bungalows in two styles set through a dense jungle of coconut palms, banana trees and other livery. The beachfront offerings have great views and generously-sized wrap-around verandas. Rooms are very clean inside, though they're starting to look their age and some of the wooden floors are getting pretty squeeky and the decor is pretty plain. The bathrooms are spotless and the family room bathrooms are great. This is a popular spot, particularly with families.

Nice but quiet place to stay -
By jaynec31 ( total comments: 3  More information please ) Stayed here 1/2006
Stayed here over new year with my boyfriend and sister. We had a 2 bedroom family bungalow and it was great. The rooms were large and the kitchen had a mini bar and fridge. The resort looks right onto the beach, which is lovely. The only problem with staying here was that it was so quiet. We hardly ever saw anyone else and hardly any of the bars on the way to the main road were open or had anyone in them. It was a bit strange but it was good to be away from the madness that is Chaweng.

Seafan Beach Resort
Mae Nam Beach, Ko Samui
This very large resort has well-sized, wood and rattan-finished bungalows spaced out over their large estate. The rooms have not aged well, with creaky, bouncy wooden floors. Nevertheless, if it's a peaceful, very spacious resort with a good stretch of beach that you're after, with friendly staff... more
