Palm Point Village
Well-kept huts

What we say:
Palm Point has clean and well-kept bungalows on a great stretch of beach. The bathrooms are a bit grungy, but the newer wooden huts at the rear are better and cleaner, though they have no views.

We loved it
We stayed in a fan hut for 450b a night. It was 20 feet from the beach, which is stunning and great for swimming. Palm trees provide plenty of shade when needed - but watch out for falling coconuts! The hut was basic, but very clean (cleaned daily) and the bathroom didn't feel 'grungy' to me. It was just fine and again very clean. All the windows had mozzie screens on them so you could leave them open. We even turned the fan off one night. The huts are set in a nice area and the on-site restaurant is really good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I think they have added newer concrete huts since this was added to Travelfish. They look a little swankier. There are a couple of nice places to eat and plenty of shops nearby. The only negative was the lack of wifi, although there are internet cafe's within a few mins walk. Overall, a top budget place in a great spot on a beautiful beach.
