Description
Private pool villas are so passe nowadays -- or so it seems anyway -- every new resort whacks some in -- even if, as in the case of Ban Laem Sai, the beach is great and there's already a lovely pool for everyone to share. Running up a ridge towards the eastern end of Mae Nam, Ban Laem Sai offers some spectacular views from what are some particularly well-designed and tremendously comfortable rooms -- but at these rates you should only be expecting the best. We found the staff very helpful and professional and the overall setting very impressive. One minor gripe is the steep climb to the Garden Hill Chalets -- they're certainly on a hill.
