What we say:

Save House (don't dwell on the name – it sounds like a rehab centre) is located on the Ring Road, as you enter Mae Nam from the Bophut side, about 500 metres past Zazen Resort. This reasonably priced resort is not on the seafront, but it is only a five-minute walk to the beach. A lovely swimming pool makes up for this fact, and the restaurant serves good food consistently at fair prices. The resort also has a gym, free WiFi and a computer room on site. Scooters and jeeps are available for rental. Bungalows of various sizes are set in a beautifully maintained garden. There are options of studio bungalows, as well as one or two-bed roomed villas. The rooms include features such as cable TV with DVD players, air-con, spacious bathrooms with hot water and balconies overlooking the gardens. The studio bungalows have a fridge, while the larger villas have a small kitchen with dining area and lounge. Rates are reasonable, and good discounts are offered for month-long stays.
