Definitely the flashiest and finest setup on Nai Wok, perhaps even on Ko Pha Ngan's west coast, Grand Sea Resort is very posh and comfortable. All bungalows and hotel-style buildings here feature the beautifully-carved wood and high pitched roofs of northern Thai, Lanna style. While suited to big spenders, the atmosphere remains quite relaxed. The unpretentious management and staff are incredibly friendly and hospitable. This place has it all with a pool, sauna, beach side Jacuzzi, internet cafe and gift shop. The lovely bungalows are privately spaced around beautiful grounds, and even the simplest rooms are well-equipped and very comfortable. For families and upscale travellers, this is a very good choice.
