Description
Located directly opposite the pier, Pha Ngan Chai is a suitable place to spend a night before catching the ferry but is not recommended as a holiday destination. Just look for the five-storey white building with blue stripes when disembarking, you can't miss it. There are no signs to assist you, but it is the largest building around. Rooms are all pretty much the same and are comfortable enough with TV, air-con and refrigerator. The price isn't bad for the amenities included, but again, most guests don't stay long. A decent cafeteria-style restaurant and cafe are provided, and the staff is amiable yet professional.
