Description
Despite its name, Libong Nature is the least natural looking of the island's three resorts. Accommodation is in squat concrete bungalows arranged around a barren lawn. Rooms are basic -- cold water, bare furnishings, and tacky prints on the walls. They do at least earn some points for their environmental efforts -- the resort was built without altering the landscape, they run nature-oriented tours, and they use organic food in the kitchen. Still, they're not great value, particularly compared to the much more inviting resorts up the beach. You need to book ahead at their sister resort, the Had Yao Nature Resort near Trang -- they'll help arrange transfers, and ensure that someone will be waiting to let you in to your room.
