Description
This place is tucked away on a pleasant side street, dwarfing the surrounding buildings. The area still has a nice neighbourhood feel to it, with some cafes and restaurants close by. The interior of Nam Nguyen is well-done in an art deco style, and while we liked the design, and hardwood furnishings in the rooms, the rooms we saw were a bit cramped. The nearby Biet Diem is slightly better value on that score.

Biet Dien Hotel
1 Ngo Quyen, Buon Ma Thuot
No points given for the big, concrete box exterior, but the rooms here are good value for the price range. Set in a pleasant spot next to a park, there are places to eat, drink coffee and do your banking in the immediate area, and there's also a restaurant on site. All the rooms have air-con, cable... more

Thanh Cong Hotel
51 Ly Thuong Kiet St, Buon Ma Thuot
It's hard to miss this place, with it's second-floor entrance and a sign with the backpacker carrying a globe on his back, emblazoned with the slogan Chacun Sa Route. A bit misleading, because a backpacker outfit this ain't, and we have a feeling the only people being routed here are French people... more
