The Duy Hoang wins the prize for cheapest digs with it's tiny single rooms with shared bath. But if you don't want to feel like you've just wound up in prison, there are also some very good options available, including rooms that can sleep six. Cable TVs are standard in all rooms, and those with private bathrooms also have fridges and air-con. All the baths have hot water.

Where possible the researcher will inspect at least a couple of rooms. Not Bad - 5th March, 2009
You wouldn't travel to Buon Ma Thuot just for the pleasure of staying here, but we got a big triple room with air con and bathroom for about $10. It was reasonably clean, the beds were OK and the bathroom was alright. It's in the middle of town, and the non-English speaking staff do their best. Free toothpaste! Ugliest green walls I've ever seen. The big question is why anyone would want to stay in Buon Ma Thuot!
