What we say: 2.5 stars

It's hard to miss this place, with it's second-floor entrance and a sign with the backpacker carrying a globe on his back, emblazoned with the slogan Chacun Sa Route. A bit misleading, because a backpacker outfit this ain't, and we have a feeling the only people being routed here are French people who booked in advance without checking the place out. The rooms are pricey for what you get, and everything is starting to get old and rough around the edges, though they all have air-con, cable TV and hot water bathrooms. It just barely earns it's two-star rating. There is a restaurant on the ground floor, and buffet breakfast is included in the price of the room.
