Description
This brand new three-star place racks up its demerits by being very inconveniently located outside of town, in the shadow of the nearby military base. It's an impressive place for little Gia Nghia -- the rooms are of three-star quality, and the lobby is decorated in that wonderfully overblown Vietnamese rococo style we've all come to love. It's the only place in town with cable TV, but still no English-language channels. Still, the rooms are very new and very clean, and if you plan on using transport during your stay anyway, it's not a bad choice.

The location is good too -- right near the river bridge and across the street from an internet place. The staff here... more

Thang Huong Guest House
155 Tran Hung Dao St, Gia Nghia
This ultra-basic, family-run place is in a good central location. The rooms are a bit shabby and grotty but cheap. Before you turn your nose up, you should know that we checked out all the other shabby and grotty guesthouses in town, and this is the pick of the lot. All rooms have private baths... more
