What we say: 
The Thanh Lich is in a convenient location for some decent restaurants, and it's two-doors down from an internet place. The rooms are a bit cramped, but well-equipped -- cable TV and private hot water bathrooms are standard in all rooms. Even though it's under the same ownership as the Hung Vuong, we found the staff here a bit better: a few of them speak English quite well, and were very helpful on our visit. They also rent motorbikes. A major drawback, though: the electronics shops next door blasts loud pop music all day long and into the evening.

A bit tired but will do
Old place and looks its age. The room was pretty musty and the floor dotted with cigarette burns. Still, the beds and bathroom were fine and the hot water nice. Paid 120000 dong + 20% foreigner surcharge for a twin fan room.
