If this glistening new place doesn't lure you away from the Dakbla Hotel nothing will. It just opened in June of 2007, and we found the staff here eager to please. The courtyard in front features a spiral staircase winding up to some rooms on the second floor, and there are more rooms at the back. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed with good attention to detail, and of course, everything is clean and brand new. They have some great furnishings, including wooden love-seats, directors chairs, huge TVs, and a small bump in price gets you a bathtub. The family suite we saw was roomy, homey and gorgeous. The second floor features a large kitchen and dining area where you can make your own meals, and there's free internet in the lobby. It's run by the same company as the Family Inn, which is a good choice, but this is better. All rooms have air-con, no fan options available.

Bac Huong Hotel reviews

Lovely! - 8th February, 2009
This is an excellent hotel-modern, clean, good bathroom, comfy beds, and just enough idiosyncracies to make your stay memorable. Our room was large, light, and airy, with nice furniture and efficient air con. The bathroom was in one corner, its walls made of semi-transparent glass, which I'm sure would be popular with honeymooners, but less so when you're travelling with your adult son! The family that run it are friendly and helpful, but only Mum speaks English. It's a little bit out of the town centre, but in Kon Tum, that's an advantage! Taxis are very cheap.
