Description
Vietnam has khach san (hotels) nha nghi (guesthouses) and nha tro (boarding houses). The latter can range anywhere from decent but humble to skid row quality. The Xuan Hoai is soundly the latter. It's just a flop house for locals who don't feel like walking all the way up to their village until morning. This means low, low prices, but be prepared to take a big hit in terms of quality. None of the rooms have air-con. All the toilets are squat style.
