Good value doubles

Thuy Tran has 11 family rooms with two double beds inside, and seven double rooms. By far the best value are the doubles, which have enough room to swing a cat -- the same can't be said about the family rooms, where the thought of four people and their luggage residing in such a small space isn't even funny, although two people might make it. Bathrooms are good with enclosed showers, and beds are very solid. All rooms are equipped with a fridge, a TV and a phone. The small restaurant is based in the lobby. For the money, a reasonable option.

Good location, new condition - 3rd February, 2008
I think the review over-emphasized the lack of space. The condition of everything is new. The bedspreads (esp. the thick comforters!) are quality. The pillow-cases and sheets were changed often. The place has a sense of quality and family. I was invited to eat with the family on occasion. Great Asian food! The owners / managers seem to have a sense of class and style. Daily rituals were performed burnind incense in a solemn manner. Kind of punctuated your stay in a truly new Asian establishment. There's also a good Western-style gym (no cardio!) across the street. On the downside - the rooms are often chilly in cool Dalat. The internet is limited to two terminals - good for some. They need Wifi. The breakfast is standard, but there are a handful of good eateries nearby including cheap and strong local coffee, a sandwich shop, or even decent Western food and a glass of wine! The location makes up for any short-comings. You'll be fine here, and the place is in good shape!
