Centrally located among the tour agencies and hotels of Da Lat, Phuong Thanh is a quiet little place where travellers can relax. Compared to the purpose-built hotels surrounding it, this place has a certain charm -- it's an old converted French townhouse. With only 10 rooms, an intimate atmosphere is offset by nice little touches such as a laundry basket in each room. Room, although not exactly appointed with brand new furniture, have plenty of space for bags and clothing. Balcony rooms are available, though the balcony is more of a terrace with plenty of seating. A very solid budget option.

Friendly quiet place

This place is quite friendly and is in a very good location, within walking distance to the night market and places to eat. There is also a coffee shop just next door. The young girl at the reception is lovely and has a great english. There is free internet. I was alone and payed 7,5USD per night. The room had 2 single beds, tv and hot water. It was pretty spacious, but despite the windows it was very humid and so was the blanket. I was in a room located down the stairs, but I realized after that the rooms on the upper floors looked a lot nicer and newer, and probably not that much more expensive, so maybe it's a nice idea to check before choosing.
