Pleasant, but off the beach

What we say: 2.5 stars

Across the road from Sandy Beach and Hoa's Place are several low-key shophouse style hotels. Of these, we liked Nhu Phuong the best. Located across from the entrance to Sandy Beach, it offers simple but spotless air-con rooms. The TVs don't have cable, the ruffled drapes are tacky, and the tiles in the bathroom are a medicinal teal, but the friendly (non-English speaking) staff definitely seem to be taking care of the place. The main draw here would be for people travelling on a budget, who can't put up with the dingy rooms over at Hoa's. Personally? We'd put up with the grime at Hoa's to stay close to the beach.
