This excellent value hotel is one of the best budget deals in Da Nang. Rooms are spacious and immaculate, with cable TV, air-con, fridge and hot water bathrooms, all at good budget rates. The rooms are painted in bright pastel colours, and have pleasant views over town. There are a few strange touches in the decor -- pink urinals in some of the bathrooms, for one -- but over all it's a charming place. There is an attractive rooftop garden, though no chairs or benches to sit and enjoy it. And though the hotel is located at the southern end of Da Nang, a 10-minute walk from the centre of things, it is a short hop, skip and a jump from the Cham Museum (or two minutes if you're just walking). The staff are friendly and outgoing, and WiFi is available throughout the hotel. If you're on a budget, this is one of your best bets.

Pretty good value
Although Hoi An is the place to be for travellers, this hotel in Da Nang was good value. We paid US$15 for the room and only wanted to see the Cham Museum before taking the train. It actually is only a two-minute stroll away. Staff are friendly and rooms are pretty good.
