The Bamboo Green Riverside seems to be striving for a higher market -- perhaps competing with the more glamorous Riverside across the water. The rooms are plush, and decorated to an international standard with built-in furnishings, tubs in the bathroom and cable TV. The staff are among some of the most professional in the city, and very welcoming. And best of all, the place offers incredible views over the river, yet still remains close to the action in downtown Da Nang. All of that considered, the rates here are a bargain. In the evenings, locals gather on rows of plastic chairs out front to sip glasses of sugarcane juice and watch the traffic on the river and the motorbikes passing by on Bach Dang below.
