Located at the north end of town, the Tourane doesn't offer a prime location but seems designed to provide a secluded refuge for high-end travellers. If you see a hotel as your cocoon from the outside world, this is the spot for you. It offers decent midrange rooms with all the trimmings, along with breakfast, WiFi, and all the water you can drink, though we found the rooms a bit antiseptic and characterless. The New Phuong Dong disco is within rolling distance across the street, if that does it for you. The rooms are centred on a courtyard off the main street, which makes it a relatively quiet spot despite the nearby nightlife.
