Far from the action, but great views
What we say: 
Luxury hotels in Da Nang have an odd habit of picking slightly isolated locations. Sure, this one offers stunning views of the river, town, and the distant mountains and beach -- but its location half a kilometre north of the Nguyen Van Troi Bridge on Tran Hung Dao puts you at a fair distance from the city's restaurants, bars and attractions. Of course, if you are staying here, you can probably afford a few taxi trips. And hey, maybe isolation is part of the appeal -- it's easy to imagine swooping up 14 floors in the glass elevators, and retreating to the solace of your room. The rooms here would do nicely for that -- they're well equipped, with homey yet hip decor, and firm mattresses dressed in fluffy bedding. They come with extras like hair dryers, safes, satellite TVs, internet connections if you bring a laptop, and tea and coffee making machines. The suites have Jacuzzis. Breakfast is included, but you can opt out of it for a slight discount.
