Like may of the old, government-run hotels in Vietnam, this place seems to have been made from the same set of blue-prints -- perhaps left behind by the French as they fled the country. The style is French colonial married to West Berlin before the wall came down. The rooms are decent and functional, but spare and plain, though you can score some rooms here with tubs in the bathroom, or balconies with good views of the ocean. If you can live without a pool, it's still a better value than the Touane to the north.
