What we say:

Despite being less convenient than hotels in town, the riverside hotels on Tran Hung Dao all seem to have inflated rates. Except for the Hai Vy, that is. The recently opened Hai Vy might be small, but it offers incredible value. The spotlessly clean rooms have big windows looking over the river, sleek decor, comfortable beds dressed in crisp white sheets, and hip bathrooms of stone and glass -- all for lower prices than its neighbours. The outgoing staff are an added perk. WiFi is available for free throughout the hotel. Recommended.
