A decent resort option
The 14-storey Holiday Beach opened in late 2013 and is positioned on the busy highway that separates it from the beach.
We weren't too impressed with the positioning – the pool area is overlooked at every angle and faces the road and though it has secured beach views, it's not too appealing for guests paying high prices to stay at the resort. Rooms here are of a decent size and luxuriously fitted, but lack character; we get the impression that the rave reviews for the hotel have been boosted by soft opening prices. Still, the area can't be beat and if you feel more at home in a large resort the Holiday Beach is the only option here. If you are paying beachfront prices as you are here, you would be better off heading further south and booking the Pullman. Be sure to check online for discounted rates.
