Description
This modern, three-storey hotel is built around a mid-sized pool in an atrium-like setup. A 5- to 10-minute walk from the town centre, the Vinh Hung 2 has reasonable rooms with air-con, TV, fridge and hot water bathrooms with bathtubs. The carpets are worn and while the rooms are well-looked after, they're still pretty faded. Choose from two classes of rooms: the upstairs ones have small balconies, the downstairs none. One extra star for the pool.

The sister down the street is very nice, and cheaper: good doubles from $18 for no window, and the much better deal of $20 with a window. This is the only place we could find a room that was not molding. Also, there is a nice rooftop pool, very friendly and helpful staff, and an impressive free breakfast that goes far beyond toast and coffee.
