Description
Situated a few kilometres outside Hoi An on the beach road, the Ancient House Resort is an imaginative spot compared to many places in town. The resort is comprised of a series of white two- and three-storey terrace houses scattered across lush tropical grounds, with a particularly tempting pool set towards the centre. The rooms are white and spotless throughout, with mosquito-net-draped four-poster beds and white furnishings. The bathrooms are modern and have bathtubs. When the windows are closed the rooms are very dark, but open them up and they become very light and airy. Go for a top floor room if available as they have the edge. All rooms are identical inside, with the price changing according to position. The river view rooms are by far the quietest, though in some cases the view is more of a glimpse. As with many of the Beach Road resorts, a complimentary bus shuttles to both town and the beach. The special room comes with in-room internet access including a computer.
