Thuy Duong 3 Hotel
Luxurious but traditional

What we say:
It's a testament to how lucrative it is to own a hotel in Hoi An that so many owners just open up one after another and name them sequentially. As a general rule, the higher the number, the bigger and better the hotel, and the Thuy Duong 3 is positive proof of this. It's a three-storey place with balconies and verandas overlooking the small but decent pool at the centre. We found staff here who spoke English and French, along with a business centre and other top-notch services. The spacious and well-equipped rooms are decorated in a traditional Vietnamese style, with chunky dark wood furniture, plush beds, cosy lighting and balconies: deluxe rooms overlook the pool or fields. However, given how nice the pool is (and how convenient the poolside bar is), you might find yourself not spending too much time in your room. WiFi and breakfast are included.

Lovely place
We got to stay here for three nights , paid around US$38 with breakfast included & good breakfast Hotel was lovely, rooms nicely done, we looked out over the central pool area... It was about a 7 minute walk to the river and centre of Hoi An. Cracking place, we rented a motor bike and went to beach, purchased clothes till they were going out of fashion, trying about five different tailor shops, bike was useful to, very useful. Like most things you get what you pay for, the excitement is in trying all the different spots .. Our last three nights were at the other end of town, staying at An Phuy, cannot compare the two places. Anyway I would recommend here, breakfast good, staff helpful ... we both liked Hoi An, yes very touristy but good spot! The beach area is being developed, go before it is too late ... but stay here !

This was a good choice for 4 nights in Hoi An. We chose a ground floor pool side room that we negotiated down from $35 to $30 a night. Comfy beds, air-con, TV, breakfast buffet and hot shower included. The staff were lovely and helpful, even getting the post office service to come out and box up all our newly tailored clothes & shoes, weigh and ship out for us! Saved a heavy trip to the post office. There is a nice little spa on site too and the pool is cool and deep! Get to breakfast early-ish to avoid disappointment and get a seat on the terrace. Centrally located and worth a stay.
