What we say:

If you're desperate to stay at the beach but your budget doesn't stretch to one of the resorts, the Sun in Sand might do the trick. It's certainly not an inspiring option, and prices are higher than the equivalent hotel in town, but rooms are clean and comfortable with small balconies. On the negative side, the pool's more of a bathtub, its location on the main street means it could get noisy and the staff we encountered didn't speak much English.
