Description
This three-star outfit fits the bill for midrange and luxury travellers. It specialises in group tours, and on our visit the staff were handling the check-in of a group of sixty Australians like a well-oiled machine. If efficient service is one of your top priorities, you'll probably find it here. On the ground floor, Le Caramel restaurant has just been completed, with some surprisingly cheap Vietnamese and Western grub on the menu. There's another restaurant on the upper floors, but the real draw up there is the Panarama club offering a great view of the city, as well as a small pool with a swim-up bar. Standard three-star services like massage, sauna, and a business centre are also available. The rooms are good -- much what you'd expect for the price, with attractive decor throughout the interiors, though the cheaper rooms were a little cramped. The more expensive rooms are higher up and offer better views. WiFi is available throughout the hotel, and there is free internet for guests in the lobby.

Hoa Hong Hotel

If you're looking for mid-range comfort and amenities in what is otherwise the budget part of town, the Hoa Hong is a decent choice. They offer standard hotel-style rooms with air-con, fridge, satellite cable TV, and the like. We were particularly impressed with the spa tubs in the bathrooms with... more
