We gave this place low marks when it was known as the An Phuoc. But now, rebranded and renovated, the old place gets a new day in court and a clean slate. We were much impressed with how they spruced up the exterior and the once vacant lobby is now tastefully bedecked with art and a couple of internet terminals for guests. In the past, we remarked that the TVs in the rooms were tiny and provided no cable: now they have huge TVs with cable. Before there was a lack of furnishings, now there are more furnishings. We have half a mind to trash it again and see if it gets even better. They also get points for putting money into the place and not raising the price.
