What we say:

This towering, new hotel on Hung Vuong provides a great view of the Perfume River, and also of the other places you chose not to stay, like the Saigon-Morin and La Residence. The posh rooms are in a modernist design with touches of French colonial and Hue's traditional architectural styles, deep marble tubs, fresh-cut flowers floating in watery pots and the like. It's a five-star place, but if they only had four stars, we certainly wouldn't have thought something was amiss. The lobby is grand, if a little vacuous, there's a pool and several classy restaurants on site, including a Japanese sushi joint. We still think the Saigon-Morin is a better choice, but luxury travellers might find themselves feeling right at home here as well.
