Description
You can't beat the location -- right on the moat overlooking one of the outer ramparts of the Citadel. But there are rarely tourists in this neighbourhood, which makes it part of the attraction. Most of the guest houses in this neighbourhood aren't licensed to take foreigners, but this one said they were. It's a very local style place, made for large groups who are mostly interested in a cheap sleep. Almost no English is spoken, but if you're in the mood to duck out on the tourist scene, this is a fine choice.

The rooms are a bit worn, but feature vanities, tile floors, tubs, cable TVs, fridges, and clean... more

Thuong Thu
22 Dinh Then Hoang, Hue
This place, within spitting distance of the Lac Thien restaurant and the Citadel, provides a surprisingly homey atmosphere, and features spacious rooms with tile floors and high ceilings, kept airy by hall-facing windows. The bathrooms are no great shakes, but features tubs. We like the authentic,... more
