One of a growing number of Hong Ngoc Hotels in Hanoi, the Hang Bac property has adequate rooms which, like most of the branches, are somewhat overpriced. The front rooms have small balconies and big bathrooms and are surprisingly quiet, while the cheaper rooms are dark, windowless affairs -- overpriced for what you get. At least the nine storeys are served by a lift. Rates include breakfast.
